        "content": "<p>Banten Governor Andra Soni, accompanied by the Head of the Education\nand Culture Department (Dindikbud) Jamaluddin, met with Cambridge\nrepresentatives at the Banten Provincial Government Building in Serang\nCity on Tuesday (12\/5\/2026). During the meeting, the Banten Provincial\nGovernment discussed opportunities for collaboration on implementing the\ninternational Cambridge curriculum in locally owned elite schools.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAnd one of our efforts is to build cooperation and collaboration\nwith professionals in the education sector regarding the possibility of\napplying the Cambridge curriculum in our schools. We will start with\nCMBBS,\u201d said Andra after the meeting.<\/p>\n<p>Andra stated that CMBBS will serve as a pilot for developing elite\nschools in Banten. In the future, the Banten Provincial Government\ntargets having elite public schools in every regency and city.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIn the future, we want there to be elite schools in every regency\nand city in Banten Province. Therefore, we are working to build\ncommunication with various parties, one of which is Cambridge,\u201d he\nsaid.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, Jamaluddin assessed that CMBBS is ready in terms of\ninfrastructure and human resources to implement the elite\ncurriculum.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBecause I think CMBBS is already prepared in terms of\ninfrastructure, human resources, and hopefully the results of today\u2019s\nmeeting can be followed up immediately and serve as an example for other\nschools,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>Jamaluddin added that the planning for the programme will be carried\nout this year. He hopes that the implementation of the Cambridge\ncurriculum at CMBBS can begin in 2027.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIn the near future, we will evaluate and prepare the planning.\nHopefully, this year all planning will be completed and in 2027 it can\nbe implemented in accordance with the Governor\u2019s instructions,\u201d he\nsaid.<\/p>",
