The proposed 'special zone' would only charge vehicle parking fees, waiving individual entry charges to improve accessibility.

PT Pembangunan Jaya Ancol Tbk is conducting an in-depth evaluation of
its entry tariff scheme following the inauguration of a pedestrian
bridge connecting Jakarta International Stadium (JIS) with the Ancol
area. The move aims to optimise intermodal integration and visitor
accessibility between the two strategic locations.

President Director of PT Pembangunan Jaya Ancol Tbk, Syahmudrian
Lubis, revealed that the company is reviewing the creation of a ‘special
zone’. Under the scheme being assessed, visitors entering through this
specific zone would likely not be charged a per-person entry fee, but
only a vehicle parking tariff.

‘We are currently reviewing the tariff for parts of Ancol where we
may not charge a fee per person. So there will be a special zone where
only parking fees apply. People will no longer be charged an entrance
fee there,’ Syahmudrian stated at JIS Station on Monday (22/6).

However, he stressed that this policy would only apply to access
within that particular zone. Visitors wishing to enjoy the recreational
rides within Ancol will still be subject to the existing ticket tariffs
as per the applicable regulations. Currently, Ancol still applies a flat
rate for car entry, but management is committed to offering price
flexibility at certain times to attract public interest.

The pedestrian bridge was inaugurated alongside the JIS KRL Station
by DKI Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung Wibowo and Minister of
Transportation Dudy Purwagandhi. The infrastructure is expected to
provide a permanent solution to the transportation issues that have
plagued major events at JIS.

Governor Pramono Anung stated that the integration of the KRL
Station, Transjabodetabek, and the pedestrian bridge to Ancol will
significantly reduce traffic loads. With this connection, visitors using
private vehicles have the option to park in Ancol’s parking pockets and
then walk to JIS via the bridge. ‘This will greatly reduce the traffic
congestion that has been the main problem every time there is a music
concert or football match at JIS,’ Pramono concluded.
",
