Ancol puts on holiday programs<\/p>\n
JAKARTA (JP): Ancol Dreamland in North Jakarta is putting on
\nvarious programs for the entertainment of city residents during
\nthe post-fasting Idul Fitri holiday, an official said on
\nWednesday.<\/p>\n
"The management will provide prizes for lucky residents
\nvisiting the resort," Ancol spokesman Mukhrijul Adli said in a
\nwritten statement.<\/p>\n
Mukhrijul said the programs were meant as a show of gratitude
\nand thanks for the peaceful Ramadhan, Christmas and New Year.<\/p>\n
"Ancol Dreamland will present well-known dangdut singers Inne
\nCyntia and Ikke Nurjanah on Jan. 8 and Jan. 9, respectively,
\nwhile Rita Sugiarto is slated to perform on Jan. 16, all on the
\nPantai Festival Stage ... All shows will begin at 3:00 p.m.,"
\nMukhrijul said.<\/p>\n
In Fantasy World, there will be performances by the Kintamani
\nBand on Jan. 8 and singer Katon Bagaskara on Jan. 9. Both
\nperformances will take place on the Maksima Stage from 3 p.m. to
\n5 p.m.<\/p>\n
"The following weekend, the Anak Centil Trio will perform on
\nJan. 14, and Purpose Tiger Clan will perform the next day, also
\non the Maksima Stage," Mukhrijul said.<\/p>\n
"We will have a Snow White operetta on Jan. 16, with child
\nsingers such as Geofanny, Saskia, Leony and Agus D.S.
\nhighlighting the show," he said.<\/p>\n
"The Ancol Dreamland management hopes that with these shows,
\ncity residents will share in and exchange happiness and merriment
