        "content": "<p>Amtek, Unitech buy RI unit<\/p>\n<p>SINGAPORE (Reuters): Singapore Precision metal parts maker<br>\nAmtek Engineering Ltd said yesterday it and subsidiary Unitech<br>\nHolding Pte Ltd now own 100 percent of Indonesia's PT Amtek Sanwa<br>\nIndustries (ASI).<\/p>\n<p>Amtek Engineering said in a statement it had bought the<br>\nremaining 25 percent stake in ASI from minority shareholders.<\/p>\n<p>Before the acquisition, ASI was a 75 percent-owned subsidiary<br>\nof Unitech, an investment holding company.<\/p>\n<p>ASI has thermoplastic injection moulding and metal stamping<br>\nfacilities in Jakarta. It started operations in January 1998.<\/p>\n<p>The purchase was financed by Amtek's internal funds, the<br>\nstatement said.<\/p>",
