\u201cThis verdict is a victory for the public\u2019s sense of justice. We see\na creative worker who has fulfilled his obligations but nearly became\nensnared in the law due to unproven administrative issues. The judge has\ndemonstrated courage in upholding substantive justice,\u201d Martin said when\nasked for confirmation on Wednesday (1\/4\/2026).<\/p>\n
Martin conveyed that the public\u2019s sense of justice is disturbed if\nsomeone who genuinely works and produces output is forced to be\nguilty.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe public wants to see fair law. When trial facts show no state\nloss and the work truly exists in tangible form, then an acquittal is\nthe only way to restore the dignity of our law in the public\u2019s eyes,\u201d he\nstated.<\/p>\n
Furthermore, Martin appreciated the integrity of the panel of judges\nwho were not swayed by the heavy demands from the public prosecutor\n(JPU). According to him, the judges have carried out their function as\nthe last bastion for those seeking justice.<\/p>\n
Martin further linked the importance of legal certainty to the\nsustainability of the creative economy.<\/p>\n
\u201cOur creative economy, including videography services, is a sector\nthat relies on skills and ideas. If its actors are continuously haunted\nby fears of criminalisation even though they have worked according to\ncontract, this ecosystem will die. This is why justice for Amsal also\nbecomes a sense of security for other creative economy actors,\u201d Martin\nsaid.<\/p>\n
Martin hopes that this case serves as material for evaluation for law\nenforcement officials to be more objective in distinguishing between\ncriminal acts of corruption and professional dynamics in the field.<\/p>\n
