        "content": "<p>JAKARTA \u2014 Head of the National Food Agency (Bapanas) Andi Amran\nSulaiman said all administrative processes for food aid have been\ncompleted at the ministry level. He stated that no documents were\nblocked and that all approvals have been signed.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAlready, already. I have signed,\u201d Amran said after the Coordination\nMeeting on SPHP Daging Ayam Ras dan MinyaKita in Jakarta, on Wednesday,\n4 March 2026.<\/p>\n<p>He also confirmed that no letters relating to the needs of the public\nwere pending.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAll the people\u2019s needs. They should not be left on my desk to sleep\novernight; all the documents,\u201d he asserted.<\/p>\n<p>The government is preparing a stimulus package in the form of Food\nAid for 35.04 million Beneficiary Families.<\/p>\n<p>Deputy for Availability and Stabilisation of Food at Bapanas, I Gusti\nKetut Astawa, explained that Food Aid forms part of the economic\nstimulus package to meet the needs for rice and cooking oil for Deciles\n1-4. This group accounts for around 40 percent of the bottom-income\npopulation based on welfare levels.<\/p>\n<p>Finance Minister Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa has prepared a budget of Rp\n14.09 trillion for the programme. The budget was announced at the APBN\nKita press conference on 26 February 2026.<\/p>\n<p>The distribution of Food Aid is expected to help safeguard the\npurchasing power of the public and support the containment of food\nprices.<\/p>\n<p>Recipient data are based on the National Social and Economic Single\nData for Deciles 1-4 from the Ministry of Social Affairs. The data have\nbeen validated and verified in line with Presidential Instruction No.\u00a04\nof 2025 on the National Social and Economic Single Data.<\/p>\n<p>Bapanas has tasked Perum BULOG to distribute rice and cooking oil to\n35.04 million beneficiaries.<\/p>",
