American sailor dies at motel<\/p>\n
JAKARTA (JP): Foul play is not suspected in the death of an
\nAmerican sailor in a room at a North Jakarta motel, a hospital
\nsource said on Sunday.<\/p>\n
Based on available documentation, the deceased was identified
\nas Leonard Zimmerman, 57, a crew member of a ship docked at
\nnearby Tanjung Priok Port, said Eddy of Cipto Mangunkusumo
\nGeneral Hospital morgue Eddy.<\/p>\n
According to Eddy, the body was found at Wisma Podomore and
\nadmitted to the hospital's morgue at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday by
\nofficers from the North Jakarta police precinct.<\/p>\n
\"He probably died of illness. There were no signs of torture
\non his body.\"<\/p>\n
Eddy said he did not know when body was found. Police officers
\ninformed him only that Zimmerman was found in one of the rooms at
\nthe motel.<\/p>\n
Police gave the deceased's home address as 1926 Second Avenue
\nin Washington D.C., he said.<\/p>\n
Officers did not explain the circumstances of his death.<\/p>\n
As of Sunday afternoon, his remains were kept at the morgue
\nawaiting collection by next of kin.<\/p>\n
\"We'll keep the body for a while until his relatives come here
\nto take it,\" Eddy said. (jun)<\/p>",
