        "content": "<p>Amcol shares suspended<\/p>\n<p>SINGAPORE (Reuter): Trading in the shares of property company<br>\nAmcol Holdings Ltd was suspended from 01;00 GMT today, a<br>\nSingapore stock exchange statement said yesterday.<\/p>\n<p>The statement did not give a reason for the suspension but<br>\nAmcol announced earlier yesterday that Singaporean tycoon Sukamto<br>\nSia had raised his stake in the company by buying one million<br>\nshares at S$3.83 each.<\/p>\n<p>Sukamto, who is trying to wrest control of Amcol from<br>\nIndonesian businessman Henry Pribadi, bought the shares through<br>\nhis holding company Beswil Investment Pte Ltd.<\/p>\n<p>The purchase raised the number of shares owned by Sukamto to<br>\n42.19 million or around 13.9 percent of the company, the Amcol<br>\nstatement said.<\/p>\n<p>Amcol shares closed yesterday at S$3.86, up S$0.04 on a<br>\nturnover of 1.8 million shares.<\/p>",
