        "content": "<p>Ambon (ANTARA) -<\/p>\n<p>The Ambon City Government, Maluku, is providing pocket money of Rp1\nmillion to each prospective Hajj pilgrim as a form of support and\nconcern for the smooth running of the 2026 Hajj pilgrimage.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are facilitating, including providing pocket money to all\nprospective Hajj pilgrims, Rp1 million per person. This is proof of the\ncity government\u2019s concern for all pilgrims, hopefully it will be\nbeneficial,\u201d said Ambon Mayor Bodewin M. Wattimena in Ambon on\nMonday.<\/p>\n<p>The pocket money assistance was handed directly to representatives of\nthe pilgrims during the send-off event for Ambon City\u2019s prospective Hajj\npilgrims (JCH) to the Holy Land, together with the Maluku Provincial\nMinistry of Religious Affairs Office and the Ambon City Hajj and Umrah\nOffice.<\/p>\n<p>Bodewin stated that the assistance is given to all JCH who will\ndepart for the Holy Land, with the hope that it can help meet their\nneeds while performing the pilgrimage.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are grateful that after going through the preparation stages,\nincluding mutations in and out of pilgrims, today we can send off 461\nprospective Hajj pilgrims from Ambon City,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>The city government hopes that all the preparation processes that\nhave been carried out, both in administration, mental, physical, and\nhealth, can have a positive impact on the pilgrims when performing their\npilgrimage in the Holy Land.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOur hope is that all the preparation processes carried out by the\norganisers together with the city government can have a good impact when\nthey arrive in the Holy Land and perform the Hajj pilgrimage,\u201d he\nsaid.<\/p>",
