        "content": "<p>Palu - The Tompotika Conservation Alliance (ALTO) is suing the\nBanggai Regency Government over a request for an environmental impact\nanalysis (Amdal) document, taking the case to the Central Sulawesi\nInformation Commission (KI). Central Sulawesi KI Chairman Indra Yosvidar\nstated on Thursday that the mediation process failed to produce an\nagreement, leading the information dispute to proceed to trial. \u201cThere\nwas no agreement in the mediation process, so it is being continued in\nthe trial process,\u201d he said. Indra explained that the object of the\ndispute is a request for information regarding the Amdal document of a\nnickel mining company operating in Banggai Regency. In this case, ALTO\nacts as the information applicant, while the Banggai Regency\nEnvironmental Agency is the respondent. He noted that the trial is part\nof the public information dispute resolution mechanism under the Public\nInformation Disclosure Law, aimed at guaranteeing the public\u2019s right to\nobtain information openly, quickly, and transparently. \u201cThe Central\nSulawesi Information Commission is committed to continuing to promote\npublic information disclosure as a form of good and accountable\ngovernance,\u201d he stated. The Amdal document under dispute belongs to PT\nAnugerah Bangun Makmur (ABM), a nickel mining company operating in Siuna\nVillage, Pagimana District, Banggai Regency, with a mining business\npermit (IUP) covering 4,335 hectares. Besides PT ABM, several other\ncompanies also hold IUPs in the Tompotika area, including PT Penta\nDharma with 1,220 hectares, PT Prima Dharma Karsa with 938 hectares, PT\nBumi Persada Surya Pratama with 1,861 hectares, PT Prima Bangun Persada\nNusantara with 6,689 hectares, PT Merpati Pratama Sukses with 2,307\nhectares, PT Integra Mining Nusantara Indonesia with 199 hectares, and\nPT Core Mineral Resources with 2,030 hectares.<\/p>",
