        "content": "<p>JAKARTA \u2014 A motorcyclist fell into a hole believed to be an\nexcavation owned by PAM Jaya on Jalan Raya Batu Ampar, Condet, Kramat\nJati, East Jakarta.<\/p>\n<p>Video uploaded by the Instagram account <span class=\"citation\" data-cites=\"lintascondetupdate\">@lintascondetupdate<\/span> shows several\nresidents attempting to evacuate the motorcycle that had fallen into the\nhole.<\/p>\n<p>At the scene, several water barriers were visible. However, no other\nproject coverings were seen besides these barriers.<\/p>\n<p>It is suspected the rider fell because there was no guard on duty and\nthere were few warning signs in the excavation area.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018In light of the situation, we have coordinated with Polsek Kramat\nJati, Satpel Kecamatan Kramat Jati and Satpol PP to assist with security\nduring busy hours,\u2019 Siregar said in a written statement on Wednesday, 4\nMarch 2026.<\/p>\n<p>Siregar added that they were also coordinating with PAM Jaya to\nincrease signage at the project site.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018PAM Jaya has agreed to add signage. We ask that it be installed by\nThursday at the latest so that residents passing by at night can stay\nvigilant,\u2019 Siregar said.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, PAM Jaya Senior Manager Corporate &amp; Customer\nCommunication, Gatra Vaganza, acknowledged that the excavation is a PAM\nJaya project.<\/p>\n<p>Gatra said he had coordinated with the contractor regarding the\nincident, including adding safety signage.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018So, really, the incident happened around ten days ago, which is why\nI am asking the contractor to prepare a chronology,\u2019 he explained.<\/p>",
