        "content": "<p>Jakarta (ANTARA) - The e-commerce platform Alibaba.com highlights\nseveral of Indonesia\u2019s leading commodities in the international market,\nincluding furniture, food, and agricultural products.<\/p>\n<p>Head of South and Southeast Asia at Alibaba.com, Roger Luo, stated\nthat in the past year, the number of new Indonesian exporters joining\nthe platform has increased by more than 30% compared to the previous\nyear.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis shows that more and more Indonesian SMEs (micro, small, and\nmedium enterprises) are actively expanding into the global market\nthrough Alibaba.com, and this trend continues to grow rapidly,\u201d Roger\nsaid during a media gathering in South Jakarta on Wednesday.<\/p>\n<p>Furniture accounts for over 20% of exports on the platform, with food\nand beverages contributing more than 10%, followed by clothing and\naccessories at around 10%. Meanwhile, agricultural products, chemicals,\nand home and garden equipment each contribute about 5%.<\/p>\n<p>According to Roger, this data reflects the diversity of Indonesia\u2019s\ndomestic industries while demonstrating the increasing supply capacity\nand competitiveness of Indonesia in the global supply chain.<\/p>\n<p>Furthermore, he noted that the main markets for Indonesian exporters\non Alibaba.com are dominated by the United States and Europe, both in\nterms of the number of buyers and transaction values.
