        "content": "<p>Jakarta (ANTARA) - Algeria is taking swift steps to strengthen\nbilateral relations and explore various economic cooperations with\nseveral countries after deciding to sever diplomatic ties with the\nUnited Arab Emirates (UAE).<\/p>\n<p>According to a statement from the Algerian Ministry of Foreign\nAffairs, delivered by the Algerian Embassy in Jakarta on Friday,\nAlgeria\u2019s Minister of State, Minister of Energy and Mines, Mohamed\nArkab, held discussions via video conference with Bangladesh\u2019s Minister\nof Energy and Mineral Resources, Iqbal Hassan Mahmood, on Thursday\n(10\/9).<\/p>\n<p>The two ministers discussed partnership opportunities between\nAlgeria\u2019s state-owned oil and gas company, Sonatrach, and Bangladeshi\ncompanies in the fields of liquefied natural gas (LNG), liquefied\npetroleum gas (LPG), and petroleum products, as well as related\ninfrastructure development.<\/p>\n<p>On the same day, Algeria\u2019s Minister of Foreign Trade and Export\nPromotion, Kamel Rezig, along with Uzbekistan\u2019s Minister of Investment,\nIndustry, and Trade, Laziz Kudratov, held an online meeting to discuss\nthe formation of a joint business council.<\/p>\n<p>Both parties agreed to develop this cooperation to strengthen direct\ncommunication between economic actors in both countries, aiming to drive\ninvestment opportunities and partnerships, as well as to support the\nimplementation of joint economic and commercial projects.<\/p>\n<p>The two ministers also discussed strengthening bilateral relations in\nthe economic and trade sectors and exchanged views on various efforts to\nincrease and diversify trade volumes in accordance with the economic\npotential of both nations.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to strengthening economic cooperation, Algeria is also\nseeking to enhance regional stability alongside Oman.<\/p>\n<p>Algeria\u2019s Minister of State, Minister of Foreign Affairs, National\nCommunities Abroad, and African Affairs, Ahmed Attaf, spoke via\ntelephone on Thursday (10\/9) with Oman\u2019s Minister of Foreign Affairs,\nBadr bin Hamad Al-Busaidi.<\/p>\n<p>They discussed various issues of mutual interest, particularly\nregional developments, and reaffirmed support for efforts aimed at\neasing tensions and promoting diplomatic solutions to maintain security\nand stability throughout the region.<\/p>\n<p>As reported by the Turkish news agency Anadolu, the Algerian\ngovernment stated on Thursday (10\/9) that it had decided to sever\ndiplomatic relations with the United Arab Emirates (UAE) after\nhaving<\/p>",
