        "content": "<p>Alcatel-Satelindo deal<\/p>\n<p>JAKARTA (JP): Alcatel Telecom and PT Satelindo have signed a<br>\ncontract worth US$225 million (Rp 535.5 billion) to expand<br>\nSatelindo's network for Global System for Mobile Communications<br>\n(GSM) phase three and four.<\/p>\n<p>The company said in a statement yesterday phase three was<br>\nworth $70 million and phase four $155 million.<\/p>\n<p>The contract covered the supply of a GSM installation system,<br>\nthe installation of base station controllers and radio base<br>\nstations.<\/p>\n<p>The installation project, expected to be completed within one<br>\nyear, would increase PT Satelindo's networking capacity and<br>\ncoverage in Java.<\/p>\n<p>Satelindo is currently 45 percent owned by PT Bimagraha<br>\nTelekomindo, a subsidiary of Bimantara Group, 25 percent by DeTe<br>\nMobil, 22.5 percent by PT Telkom and 7.5 percent by PT Indosat.<br>\n(09)<\/p>",
