        "content": "<p>The Association of Indonesian Palm Oil Producing Districts (AKPSI) is\noptimistic that the single-door export system policy for natural\nresource commodities, particularly crude palm oil (CPO), will improve\nnational palm oil trade governance. \u201cThe single-door export system could\nbe an opportunity to improve national palm oil trade governance,\u201d said\nAKPSI Chairman Mudyat Noor when asked about the central government\npolicy\u2019s implementation in Penajam Paser Utara Regency, East Kalimantan\nProvince, on Sunday. The AKPSI Chairman, who is also the Regent of\nPenajam Paser Utara, expressed hope that the governance needing reform\nprimarily concerns pricing issues, such as underpricing and transfer\npricing between entities, which have long affected state and regional\nrevenues. If the single-door export policy runs well, he continued, he\nestimates domestic palm oil prices will become more stable and uniform,\nbenefiting oil palm smallholders, and can minimise underpricing and\ntransfer pricing practices, ultimately leading to increased state\nrevenue and impacting regional income growth. AKPSI, which now comprises\n164 districts and cities, is also pushing for an increase in the palm\noil revenue-sharing fund from eight per cent to a minimum of fifteen per\ncent for palm oil-producing regions in Indonesia. With the central\ngovernment\u2019s policy on single-door export governance through PT\nDanantara Sunberdaya Indonesia, Mudyat Noor said, the opportunity for\nincreased central government revenue and additional regional income will\nbe wide open.<\/p>",
