        "content": "<p>The government, through a joint ministerial effort, conducted a\nstrategic visit to the Kura Kura Bali Special Economic Zone on Friday\n(1\/5\/2026). This visit serves as support for the development of the\nfinancial sector Special Economic Zone. The visit was led by\nCoordinating Minister for the Economy and National KEK Council Chairman\nAirlangga Hartarto, together with Minister of Investment\/Head of BKPM\nand BPI Danantara CEO Rosan Roeslani, as well as BPI Danantara COO Dony\nOskaria. The visit took place at Sira Village - Grand Outlet Bali, one\nof the flagship projects of the Kura Kura Bali KEK. This area is the\nresult of a collaboration between PT Bali Turtle Island Development\n(BTID) and Mitsubishi Estate, scheduled for launch in the middle of this\nyear. Coordinating Minister Airlangga Hartarto stated that this follows\nPresident Prabowo Subianto\u2019s directive regarding the establishment of a\nSpecial Financial Centre in Bali, referring to the Dubai International\nFinancial Centre (DIFC) model, with the aim of attracting investment\nflows to Indonesia. \u201cSo what can Kura Kura Bali offer as a location for\nthe IFC?
