Amid this\ndigital transformation, Universitas Nusa Mandiri (UNM), a Digital\nBusiness Campus, has stressed that AI is not a threat but a technology\nthat must be understood and utilised to support productivity. The\ngreatest challenge is not the presence of AI, but the readiness of human\nresources to adapt to technological change. Professor Agus Subekti, Head\nof the Master of Informatics programme at UNM, stated that the future of\nthe workplace will not be determined by strength, but by the ability to\ncontinuously learn and adapt. \u201cAI will not replace humans, but humans\nwho can utilise AI will have an advantage over those unwilling to\nimprove their competencies. Therefore, a culture of lifelong learning\nhas become an absolute necessity in the era of digital transformation,\u201d\nhe said. Professor Agus noted that the industry now requires talent\ncapable of not only using technology but also designing technology-based\nsolutions. Competencies in AI, Big Data, Software Engineering,\nBlockchain, Cyber Security, and Digital Leadership are increasingly\nsought after by both national and global companies. In response to this\ndemand, UNM has introduced a Master of Informatics programme designed to\nproduce adaptive and innovative graduates who can lead digital\ntransformation. The programme is open to graduates from various\ndisciplines and professionals aiming to enhance their competencies and\nexpand their career opportunities. Through a curriculum based on\nresearch and industry needs, students gain an integrated learning\nexperience that combines theory with practical problem-solving. \u201cWe do\nnot just equip students with technological mastery, but also with\nanalytical skills, research capabilities, innovation, and digital\nleadership. Our hope is that graduates will become problem solvers ready\nto face the challenges of Industry 5.0,\u201d he explained.
