        "content": "<p>Sleman (ANTARA) - Coordinating Minister for Infrastructure and\nRegional Development Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono stated that the\nrevitalisation of the slum area in Mrican, Caturtunggal, Depok, Sleman\nRegency, Special Region of Yogyakarta, can serve as a model for other\ncities in Indonesia.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI visited the Mrican area in Sleman yesterday afternoon (Friday,\n24\/4), and the slum revitalisation there can become a model for slum\nrevitalisation in other cities in Indonesia,\u201d said Agus Harimurti\nYudhoyono, or AHY as he is popularly known, when meeting Deputy Regent\nof Sleman Danang Maharsa during the tree-planting activity for the Green\nCorridor of the Prambanan-Purwomartani Toll Road section, Sleman, on\nSaturday.<\/p>\n<p>Previously, AHY and his entourage inspected the results of the\nrevitalisation of the area, which was formerly a slum, now transformed\ninto a clean and neatly arranged area.<\/p>\n<p>The five-hectare area along the Gajahwong River now also features a\nrepresentative \u201cGatotkaca\u201d Public Open Space for various activities.<\/p>\n<p>AHY appreciated the revitalisation of the Mrican slum area, which has\nnow become very green.<\/p>\n<p>He also appreciated the 3M concept (Mundur, Munggah, Madhep Kali)\ninitiated by the Sleman Regency Government to manage riverbank\nareas.<\/p>\n<p>AHY also inspected the Condongcatur Integrated Waste Processing Site\n(TPST). This community-based waste management facility can process 8 to\n10 tonnes of waste per day into RDF, fertiliser, and other\nnecessities.<\/p>\n<p>On that occasion, Sleman Regent Harda Kiswaya stated that the Sleman\nRegency Government is committed to transforming slum areas into\nfunctional public spaces.
