Jakarta (ANTARA) - The General Chairman of the Democratic Party, Agus\nHarimurti Yudhoyono (AHY), has invited cadres, sympathisers, and the\nwider public to participate in determining the official logo for the\n25th Anniversary of the Democratic Party through an online voting\nprocess.<\/p>\n
According to AHY, the commemoration of the Democratic Party\u2019s\nquarter-century is not merely a moment to reflect on the party\u2019s long\njourney, but also an opportunity to involve the public in determining\nthe visual identity that will symbolise 25 years of the party\u2019s service\nto the nation and the state.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe 25-year journey of the Democratic Party is a journey of service\nto the people. Therefore, we want the public to be part of that history,\nincluding in determining the official logo for the 25th Anniversary of\nthe Democratic Party,\u201d AHY stated in a press release received in Jakarta\non Saturday.<\/p>\n
Prior to the voting stage, the Democratic Party held a logo design\ncompetition involving creators from various regions. After a selection\nprocess by the committee, the work of Bogi Wijayanto was selected as it\nwas deemed most capable of representing the spirit, values, and 25-year\njourney of the Democratic Party.<\/p>\n
During the development process, Bogi presented three alternative\ndesigns, each possessing distinct visual strength and philosophy, while\nremaining aligned with the theme of the 25th anniversary.<\/p>\n
Rather than appointing a single design directly, AHY decided to leave\nthe final choice to the public through an open voting mechanism.<\/p>\n
\u201cThese three designs each have their own character and meaning; that\nis why I want the public to help determine the logo that will become the\nofficial identity for the 25th Anniversary of the Democratic Party. This\nis our collective celebration,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
Through this vote, the public can choose the design they believe best\nrepresents the spirit of renewal, togetherness, optimism, and the\nDemocratic Party\u2019s commitment to continued service to the people.<\/p>\n
As a form of appreciation for public participation, the Democratic\nParty has also prepared prizes for 25 winners, with each receiving\nRp500,000.<\/p>\n
