Minister Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY), Coordinating Minister for Infrastructure and Regional Development, has affirmed that infrastructure projects, including the redevelopment of fishing communities, aim to create not only green but also productive ecosystems. During a visit to Ketapang Urban Aquaculture in Tangerang Regency, Banten, AHY highlighted the transformation of a previously slum-like 14-hectare area into 127 decent, green homes since 2019, enabling fishermen's families to add economic value through processing catches into products like fish balls and shrimp crackers. This initiative aligns with President Prabowo Subianto's priority programme to embody the 'Indonesia ASRI' (Safe, Healthy, Clean, and Beautiful) spirit, fostering improved living standards through collaborative government efforts.

The redevelopment of settlements and housing can also bring an
ecosystem that is not only green but also productive. Tangerang Regency
(ANTARA) - Coordinating Minister for Infrastructure and Regional
Development, Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY), has assured that
infrastructure development brings a green and productive ecosystem.
“This is important because we hope and continue to promote it; we want
to ensure that infrastructure development, including area planning,
settlement and housing arrangements, can also bring an ecosystem that is
not only green but also productive,” said AHY in Ketapang Village, Mauk
Subdistrict, Tangerang Regency, Banten, on Thursday. AHY visited
Ketapang Urban Aquaculture in Ketapang Village, Tangerang Regency,
Banten. He stated that the area is the result of redeveloping a
previously slum-like fishing zone into a decent and green one. “We are
currently at Ketapang Urban Aquaculture, an area of approximately 14
hectares developed from 2019 to 2021, essentially redeveloping a
previously slum-like zone into much more decent homes in green
conditions. There are about 127 houses, and earlier I greeted some
fishermen’s families who have been living here,” he said. According to
him, when the husbands, the fishermen, go to sea and conduct aquaculture
for fish or shrimp, their wives or families can also be productive by
processing the catches and aquaculture products. “Some make fish balls,
shrimp crackers, otak-otak, and so on. So there is added economic value
that can be brought to this Aquaculture,” said AHY. The redevelopment of
fishermen’s settlement areas is a priority programme from President of
the Republic of Indonesia Prabowo Subianto, which must certainly be
supervised and successfully implemented together. For information,
Coordinating Minister for Infrastructure and Regional Development, Agus
Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY), revealed that the redevelopment of
fishermen’s settlements realises the spirit of Indonesia ASRI (Safe,
Healthy, Clean, and Beautiful). The redevelopment of fishermen’s
settlements is a collaborative project in line with the vision-mission
and directives of President of the Republic of Indonesia Prabowo
Subianto; the government is certainly striving to promote and ensure
that the quality of life of the community, including fishermen, improves
day by day.
",
