        "content": "<p>JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com \u2013 A woman with the initials TH alias D (48) was\narrested after allegedly committing fraud by extorting Ahmad Sahroni,\nthe Deputy Chairman of Commission III of the Indonesian House of\nRepresentatives (DPR RI). D came to the DPR RI office claiming to be a\nleader from the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK). After\nverification, Sahroni realised that D only intended to deceive him. He\nthen coordinated with the police to arrest the perpetrator. Sahroni\nrecounted that he was leading a meeting when he received information\nfrom his staff that there was a guest claiming to be the Head of the\nKPK\u2019s Enforcement Bureau who wanted to meet, on Monday (6\/4\/2026). He\nthen agreed to the meeting. In that meeting, D stated that a KPK leader\nwas requesting funds of Rp 300 million from him. \u201cShe approached\ndirectly, \u2018This is a request from the KPK leadership, the amount is Rp\n300 million\u2019. \u2018Okay, Ma\u2019am, later, I\u2019m leading a meeting right now\u2019.\nThen she asked for my phone number.
