        "content": "<p>Agum names new director general<\/p>\n<p>JAKARTA (JP): The Minister of Transportation and<br>\nTelecommunications, Agum Gumelar, on Wednesday installed Djamhari<br>\nSirat as the new Director General of Post and Telecommunications,<br>\nreplacing Sasmito Dirdjo.<\/p>\n<p>Agum said that Djamhari has a difficult task ahead of him as<br>\nthe new director general in charge of resolving the disputes<br>\nbetween state-owned PT Telkom and its joint cooperation scheme<br>\n(KSO) partners.<\/p>\n<p>He said that Djamhari should go on with the program outlined<br>\nby his predecessor and actively coordinate with other ministries<br>\nto formulate a cyber law and broadcasting law.<\/p>\n<p>Agum also appointed Gunawan Ibrahim as the new chief of the<br>\nMeteorological and Geophysics Agency replacing Sri Diharto.<\/p>\n<p>Both Gunawan and Sasmito will soon end their active duty.<\/p>\n<p>He appointed Yaddi Haryadi Abidin as head of the Air<br>\nCommunications Training Department, A.
