Jakarta \u2014 Presidential Advisory Council member Agum Gumelar was seen\nvisiting a residence on Jalan Purwakarta Number 6, Menteng, Central\nJakarta, on Monday to pay respects to the late Sixth Vice President of\nthe Republic of Indonesia, Try Sutrisno.<\/p>\n
According to ANTARA\u2019s observation at the location, Agum and his\ndelegation arrived at approximately 10:35 a.m. Western Indonesia Time at\nTry Sutrisno\u2019s residence. Agum Gumelar came accompanied by his\nson-in-law and Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports Taufik Hidayat.<\/p>\n
Upon arrival, Agum wore a white koko shirt, whilst Taufik Hidayat\nwore a dark blue shirt. Shortly after Agum and his delegation arrived,\nMilitary Commander General Agus Subiyanto was just leaving the residence\nafter paying his respects to Try Sutrisno.<\/p>\n
As of the time of reporting, guests consisting of state officials and\nmembers of the public continued to arrive at Try Sutrisno\u2019s\nresidence.<\/p>\n
In his final years before his passing, the late Try Sutrisno remained\nactively devoted to national endeavours, including serving as Deputy\nChair of the Governing Board of the Pancasila Ideology Development\nAgency (BPIP) for the 2022\u20132027 term. The former Sixth Vice President\nalso regularly attended state events, such as the Proclamation Day\ncommemoration ceremony at Merdeka Palace every 17 August, the MPR annual\nsession, and important ceremonies such as the TNI anniversary on 5\nOctober.<\/p>\n
In the latest development, the deceased\u2019s body was prepared at RSPAD\nmilitary hospital. Following the completion of the funeral preparation\nprocess, the body will be brought to the funeral home at Jalan\nPurwakarta Number 6, Menteng, Central Jakarta.<\/p>\n
In a separate statement, State Secretary Prasetyo Hadi confirmed that\nhis ministry, in coordination with RSPAD and the Permanent Jakarta\nGarrison Command, will provide the best attention to the deceased,\nincluding processes related to funeral preparations and burial, which\nwill be accompanied by a military ceremony.<\/p>\n
