        "content": "<p>AGO to propose deputy candidates<\/p>\n<p>JAKARTA: Attorney General M.A. Rachman will propose to<br>\nPresident Megawati Soekarnoputri three candidates for the post<br>\nleft vacant by Vice Attorney General Soeparman, who is retiring.<\/p>\n<p>Rachman refused on Monday to disclose any name, but said all<br>\nthe three candidates were senior prosecutors whose experience<br>\nincluded a tenure as Deputy Attorney General.<\/p>\n<p>The President has the prerogative to appoint the attorney<br>\ngeneral and their deputy.<\/p>\n<p>Rachman officially sent off Soeparman on Monday in a ceremony<br>\nat the Attorney General&apos;s Office in South Jakarta.
