The Attorney General's Office has disclosed the involvement of a private individual, identified as GHS, in the alleged corruption case surrounding the Free Nutritious Meals programme. GHS is accused of receiving unlawful access from former National Nutrition Agency head Dadan Hindayana to secure kitchen sites, which were then sold to other parties. In return, GHS allegedly made periodic cash payments in foreign and local currency to Dadan.

The Attorney General’s Office (AGO) has revealed the connection
between former National Nutrition Agency (BGN) head Dadan Hindayana (DH)
and a private party with the initials GHS in the alleged corruption case
concerning the management of the Free Nutritious Meals (MBG) programme
for 2025-2026. Director of Investigation at the Junior Attorney General
for Special Crimes, Syarief Sulaeman Nahdi, stated on Thursday at the
AGO building in Jakarta that GHS is a private party requested by Dadan
to find partners for the implementation of the MBG programme. “GHS had
known DH before 2025. So, they were already acquainted before 2024,” he
said. During the process, Dadan unlawfully provided GHS with access to
obtain SPPG kitchen sites through a foundation owned by GHS. After GHS’s
foundation secured the kitchen sites, it sold them to parties wishing to
establish SPPG kitchens. “GHS was given access by DH to communicate with
the verification team appointed by DH, enabling GHS to arrange the
rollback of SPPG statuses under the auspices of GHS’s foundation,”
Syarief disclosed. Following the arrangement of the SPPG sites, GHS
unlawfully gave a sum of money in cash, in both foreign currency and
rupiah, to Dadan. “The money was not given just once, but periodically,
perhaps as needed. So, not just once. As for the amount, we are still
calculating it at this moment,” he said. For his actions, GHS has been
charged under Article 12 letters a, b, and e of Law Number 31 of 1999 on
Corruption Crimes as amended by Law Number 20 of 2001 on Corruption
Crimes, in conjunction with Article 20 letter a or c of Law Number 1 of
2023 on the Criminal Code, and Article 606 of Law Number 1 of 2023 on
the Criminal Code in conjunction with Article 20 letter a or c of the
Criminal Code. GHS is the sixth suspect in this case. Previously, the
Junior Attorney General for Special Crimes had named five suspects:
former BGN head Dadan Hindayana; former BGN Deputy Head for
Organisational Development and Institutional Relations Lodewyk Pusung;
former BGN Deputy Head for Nutritional Fulfilment Operations Sony
Sonjaya; private party Asep Yusuf Soemantri; and Commissioner of PT Yasa
Artha Trimanunggal Andri Mulyono.
",
