        "content": "<p>The Indonesian Attorney General\u2019s Office (AGO) has confirmed the\nstatus of the case involving alleged corruption and money laundering\nimplicating former Junior Attorney General for Special Crimes\n(Jampidsus) Febrie Adriansyah as a suspect. Head of the AGO\u2019s Legal\nInformation Centre, Anang Supriatna, revealed that a number of pieces of\nevidence related to the case had been handed over by the National Police\nInvestigation Team to AGO Investigators from Tuesday (14\/7\/2026) until\ntoday, Wednesday (15\/7\/2026). The AGO, he said, has issued three\ninvestigation orders (Sprindik) for the case. The first is Sprindik\nNumber 43 regarding alleged corruption and money laundering for PT\nKrakatau. The second is Sprindik Number 44 regarding alleged corruption\nin the PLN power plant blackout case. The third is Sprindik 45 related\nto ASABRI, as per the report received from the National Police\ninvestigators. \u201cSince the issuance of the Sprindik, all pro justitia\nactivities and actions have been transferred to the AGO Investigators,\u201d\nAnang said during a press conference on Wednesday (15\/7\/2026). \u201cIn its\nimplementation, we continue to synergise and collaborate with the\nNational Police Investigators. We will also coordinate with the KPK to\nsupervise the investigation process. And of course, as discussed\nyesterday, our partners from Commission III of the House of\nRepresentatives will also oversee the implementation of the\ninvestigation process that has been handed over to the Attorney\nGeneral\u2019s Office Investigators,\u201d he explained. Anang stated that the\ntransfer of this case is a normal procedure and is carried out as a\nfollow-up. He cited the example of the ASABRI case, which was\nsubsequently handed over to the AGO for handling. With this, he said,\nthe handling of the case has officially been transferred to the AGO. The\nAGO, he continued, will next study the case, including examining all the\nevidence. \u201cWe will first check the evidence from the investigation\nreports originating from our colleagues in the National Police,\nincluding the physical evidence. We will later study the completeness of\nthe material,\u201d Anang explained. When asked about the suspect status\npreviously determined by the National Police, Anang stressed that the\ntransfer of the case to the AGO does not nullify the suspect status. \u201cIt\nis not nullified, but we issue the Sprindik first. The important thing\nis we receive it first, study it first. In our consideration, this\nincludes the Sprindik from the National Police.
