        "content": "<p>The Attorney General\u2019s Office, together with the Forest Area\nEnforcement Task Force (Satgas PKH), has recorded the recovery of state\nfunds and assets valued at Rp379.2 trillion from forest area enforcement\nand the handling of several cases.<\/p>\n<p>Junior Attorney General for Special Crimes Febrie Adriansyah stated\nthat the value originates from the surrender of seized goods,\ncompensation payments in corruption cases, administrative fines, non-tax\nstate revenue, tax payments, and the reclamation of forest areas.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFrom the enforcement actions carried out, the recorded recovery of\nstate funds and assets totals Rp379,279,638,971,947.96,\u201d Febrie said\nduring a press conference in Jakarta on Wednesday.<\/p>\n<p>He noted that the PKH Task Force has reclaimed forest areas covering\n5,888,233.57 hectares in the oil palm plantation sector and 13,634.08\nhectares in the mining sector. Seized assets include 22 plots of land\ntotalling 238.88 square metres, one mess building, 680,687.6 kilogrammes\nof tin metal, six smelters, 195 mining equipment units, and 108 heavy\nmachinery units. These assets originated from several entities and\ncompanies involved in alleged corruption in the tin commodity trading\nsystem.<\/p>\n<p>On 20 October 2025, the Attorney General\u2019s Office handed over\ncompensation funds from a corruption case involving the provision of\nexport facilities for crude palm oil (CPO) and its derivatives in the\npalm oil industry in 2022. The compensation, amounting to Rp13.2\ntrillion, came from corporate defendants Wilmar Group, Musim Mas Group,\nand Permata Hijau Group.<\/p>\n<p>Further payments to the state treasury on 10 April 2026 reached\nRp11.4 trillion. On the same date, follow-up proceeds from forest area\nenforcement deposited through the Ministry of Finance totalled Rp10.2\ntrillion. Febrie stated that the asset value from reclaiming\n5,888,233.57 hectares of forest area reached Rp336.2 trillion based on\nasset valuation.<\/p>\n<p>Beyond the recovered value, the task force recorded potential\nadministrative fines of Rp21.9 trillion in the oil palm plantation\nsector against 134 companies. In the mining sector, established\nadministrative fines total Rp32.6 trillion against 104 companies, of\nwhich 53 companies have paid Rp2.8 trillion. Consequently, there remains\na potential payment of Rp29.8 trillion in administrative fines for the\nmining sector. Overall, the total administrative fines in the oil palm\nplantation and mining sectors amount to Rp54.6 trillion, with realised\npayments of Rp14.2 trillion and outstanding potential payments of Rp40.3\ntrillion.<\/p>",
