Normally, the\nincreases aren\u2019t this big,\u201d said the owner of the LPG gas agency,\nSuryati Budi Rahayu, when met at her shop located on Jalan Haji Jian,\nCipete Utara Ward, Kebayoran Baru District, South Jakarta, on Thursday.\nShe assessed that the price surge of tens of thousands of rupiah is\nburdensome. Suryati mentioned that the price of 12 kg gas cylinders has\nsoared from Rp210,000 to Rp248,000, or an increase of around Rp38,000 in\na short time. According to her, the direct impact of the increase is\nrising complaints from customers, with many consumers questioning the\nreason behind the sudden price hike. \u201cThe most common complaint is, \u2018Why\nhas the price gone up?\u2019 But we can only explain that it\u2019s already the\npolicy from the centre.
