Lubuk Basung \u2014 The Agam Regency government in West Sumatra has\ndistributed aid to 358 heads of household affected by\nhydrometeorological disasters in Palupuh District to meet their needs in\npreparation for Eid al-Fitr 1447 Hijriah.<\/p>\n
The aid distribution took place at the main hall of the Palupuh\nDistrict Office on Wednesday.<\/p>\n
\u201cEach head of household received 750,000 rupiah,\u201d said Yunilson,\nAssistant to the Government and Welfare Division, in Lubuk Basung.<\/p>\n
He stated that the donation funds were distributed simultaneously to\ndisaster victims ahead of Eid al-Fitr 1447 Hijriah.<\/p>\n
Those receiving this assistance are victims of flash floods,\nlandslides and flooding that struck the area in late November 2025.<\/p>\n
\u201cThis aid is intended for purchasing necessities for celebrating\nEid,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
The funds represent donations collected by the Agam Regency\ngovernment following the hydrometeorological disaster that occurred in\nlate November 2025.<\/p>\n
He expressed hope that the donations could somewhat ease the burden\non the community and be utilised as effectively as possible,\nparticularly in preparation for Eid al-Fitr.<\/p>\n
Meanwhile, Village Chief Zul Arfin of Pasia Laweh conveyed his\ngratitude to the Agam Regency government and donors who had distributed\naid to disaster-affected communities.<\/p>\n
The assistance can be utilised effectively by the community for\nbeneficial needs in celebrating Eid.<\/p>\n
