The number of\naftershocks has now reached 10,232 events.<\/p>\n<p>According to the Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency\n(BMKG), the data was compiled on Monday (31\/8\/2026) at 05.00 WIB. The\nlargest aftershock magnitude was 6.2 and the smallest was M 1.0.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cUpdate on aftershocks of the Flores M 7.7 earthquake up to 31 August\n2026 at 05.00 WIB, total aftershocks: 10,232,\u201d wrote BMKG.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, there were 35 events with a magnitude above 5. Aftershocks\nfelt by the public numbered 157 events.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMagnitude above 5: 35. Aftershocks felt: 157,\u201d wrote BMKG.<\/p>\n<p>BMKG said the decay graph is beginning to show a downward pattern.\nAftershocks are estimated to last around 3-4 weeks.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, Head of Data and Information at BNPB, Berton SP Panjaitan,\nduring a press conference on BNPB\u2019s YouTube channel on Sunday (30\/8),\nsaid that to date there have been no further reports of fatalities from\nthe NTT earthquake.
