        "content": "<p>The government faces a policy dilemma with no truly comfortable\nsolution. Three officials in Kalisari have been questioned by the\nInspectorate General due to findings in Kalisari, Pasar Rebo, regarding\ncitizen complaints about illegal parking, which were responded to using\nartificial intelligence or AI-generated content.<\/p>\n<p>The three officials are the Kalisari Village Head, the Head of the\nEconomy and Development Section (Kasi Ekbang), and the Head of the\nGovernment Section.<\/p>\n<p>East Jakarta Mayor Munjirin explained that based on the DKI Jakarta\nInspectorate\u2019s examination, the three were deemed negligent in\ncontrolling and supervising PPSU personnel when handling public\ncomplaints.<\/p>\n<p>The East Jakarta City Government, he added, has deactivated the\nKalisari Village Head from her position as an administrative\nsanction.<\/p>\n<p>Kalisari Village Head Siti Nurhasanah has been temporarily suspended\nuntil the examination process regarding the issue is completed.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe deactivation letter has been handed over by the Pasar Rebo\nSub-District Head to the individual concerned,\u201d Munjirin stated.<\/p>\n<p>He explained that the issue is serious because it concerns the\nintegrity of public services and the utilisation of digital\ntechnology.<\/p>\n<p>According to him, AI-generated photo content does not reflect the\nactual conditions on the ground.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, the public is proactive in submitting complaints to the\ngovernment.<\/p>\n<p>He also stated that there will be an evaluation of the digital-based\ncomplaint response mechanism so that follow-ups can be transparent.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, PPSU officers in Kalisari, Pasar Rebo, East Jakarta, have\nbeen given a sanction in the form of a First Warning Letter (SP1) for\nuploading AI-generated photos in the Jakarta Kini (JAKI) app report\nrelated to handling illegal parking.<\/p>\n<p>Kalisari Village Head Siti Nurhasanah has apologised for the\nincident.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis serves as a lesson for us so that it does not happen again in\nthe future,\u201d Siti said.<\/p>\n<p>The issue of illegal parking on Damai Street, Kalisari, East Jakarta,\nwas reported by residents through the JAKI app. However, the officers\nuploaded AI-generated photos to make it seem as though the problem had\nbeen addressed.<\/p>\n<p>DKI Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung has asked the Inspectorate to\nthoroughly investigate allegations of AI content manipulation in the\nJAKI app, which went viral regarding the illegal parking report in\nKalisari, Jakarta.<\/p>",
