        "content": "<p>Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia (ANTARA\/PRNewswire)- A news report from\niChongqing:<\/p>\n<p>The 2026 Land-Sea Economic Forum drew nearly 200 government,\nbusiness, finance, think tank and media representatives from China and\nMalaysia to Kuala Lumpur on July 30 for talks on AI-powered industrial\nupgrading, cross-border investment, digital content and corporate\nglobalization. The event received coverage from Sin Chew Daily, Together\nMedia and other outlets.<\/p>\n<p>Guided by the Information Office of Chongqing Municipal People\u2019s\nGovernment and hosted by the Western International Communication\nOrganization (WCICO), the forum promoted artificial intelligence\ncooperation, the New International Land-Sea Trade Corridor (ILSTC), and\ncloser ties between Chongqing, Malaysia and other ASEAN countries across\nindustry, technology, finance and cultural exchanges.<\/p>\n<p>YB Senator Datuk Nur Jazlan bin Tan Sri Mohamed, Deputy President of\nSenate in the Parliament of Malaysia, said Malaysia and Western China\nare jointly developing a tech and trade corridor as Asian commerce is\nreshaped by physical connectivity and digital technology. The ILSTC has\ncut transit times between Western China and Southeast Asian ports from\nweeks to days, while AI is improving logistics, customs clearance,\ncompliance management and capital allocation.<\/p>\n<p>Dato\u2019 Andrew Goh Boon Kim, Deputy President of the Federation of\nMalaysian Manufacturing, highlighted AI\u2019s capacity to enhance supply\nchain visibility and resilience, while Prof.\u00a0Chee Seng Chan of the\nUniversity of Malaya emphasized that AI creates real economic value only\nthrough localized adaptation. Highlighting institutional support for\nthis digital transition, Encik Ir.
