Aetna launches new products<\/p>\n
JAKARTA (JP): Insurance company Aetna Life Indonesia, an
\naffiliate of giant Aetna Inc. of the United States, launched two
\nnew policies yesterday geared for life and medical needs.<\/p>\n
Company general manager Vera Sukawati said one of the new
\nproducts, Aetna Abadi (Whole Life Aetna), was designed for
\nclients who, in the event of their own death or retirement,
\nwished to ensure the future of family members.<\/p>\n
Beneficiaries of the insured can claim all benefits after the
\ndeath of the insured or the end of insurance term, she said.<\/p>\n
The policy holder can pay premiums every five, 10, 15 and 20
\nyears or can also make a single payment for all the premiums at
\nthe outset of the insurance term.<\/p>\n
The other policy, Aeconomedica Cash Plus, provides medical
\nfunds for holders in the event they have to undergo surgery or
\nare hospitalized for illness or accident.<\/p>\n
It assures protection at all times and gives the insured the
\nfreedom to choose the hospital for treatment, Vera said.<\/p>\n
Aetna operates in 25 cities nationwide, with 300 employees and
