Aerowisata offers marketing for hotels<\/p>\n
JAKARTA (JP): PT Aerowisata, a subsidiary of Garuda Indonesia,
\nis now offering worldwide marketing for domestic star-rated
\nhotels through its international networks.<\/p>\n
Aerowisata's president, Ronny Kusuma Hermayanto, told The
\nJakarta Post that the company has been operating its new
\nbusiness, called Aerowisata Associate, since late last year.<\/p>\n
\"By now, we have signed an agreement for the marketing of the
\nAmbhara hotel, which is located in South Jakarta,\" he said during
\na gathering at Garuda's headquarters on Thursday evening.<\/p>\n
He said that the three-star Ambhara hotel will be marketed
\nworldwide through Aerowisata's overseas representative offices.<\/p>\n
The company, which has links with Utell International, has a
\nnumber of overseas representative offices in Singapore, Japan,
\nFrance and New York to market its hotels, which are divided into
\nthree categories -- resort, premier and islander.<\/p>\n
Aerowisata currently manages Nusa Dua Beach Hotel and Sanur
\nBeach Hotel in Bali; Senggigi Beach Hotel in Lombok, West Nusa
\nTenggara; Grand Hotel Preanger in Bandung, West Java, and Hotel
\nPusako in Bukittinggi, West Sumatra.<\/p>\n
\"We are offering our marketing service to hotels wanting to
\nattract more foreign visitors. Based on contracts, associated
\nhotels should pay fees to Aerowisata, depending on the number of
\nvisitors brought in by my company's service,\" he said.<\/p>\n
He said his company's new business has good prospects because
\nthere will be more star-rated hotels opening in the country in
