        "content": "<p>ADVERTORIAL\/Fujitsu -- Tuesday<\/p>\n<p>Fujitsu set to grab more from RI's US$1.9 billion IT market<\/p>\n<p>Fujitsu Indonesia expresses optimism to be able to grab a <br>\nsignificant part of the US$1.9 billion Indonesian IT market in <br>\n2007 as the company relies on various world-class products, <br>\nincluding PRIMEPOWER Unix\/SPARC Server, PRIMEQUEST Mission-<br>\nCritical Server, and PRIMERGY Inter-architecture Server.<\/p>\n<p>\"IDC forecasts that the Indonesian Information Technology (IT) <br>\nmarket will grow by 10 percent per annum with a compound annual <br>\ngrowth rate (CAGR) of 10 percent from 2002 to 2007. There are <br>\nmany companies competing in this sector but only one or two IT <br>\nand telecommunication companies are able to provide one-stop end-<br>\nto-end solutions like us,\" said PT. Fujitsu Indonesia (FI) <br>\npresident director Takafumi Mikuni.<\/p>\n<p>Mikuni admits that the competition in the Indonesian IT market <br>\nhas been very tough, particularly in hardware products. However, <br>\nhe believes that healthy competition constitutes a positive <br>\nfactor for the growth of the Indonesian IT market.<\/p>\n<p>Aside from servers, FI also offers PCs, systems and solutions, <br>\nincluding ETERNUS Storage System, PRO-Ness Enterprise Resource <br>\nPlanning, and ROMANSY Human Resource Management.<\/p>\n<p>FI says those products have a competitive strength based on <br>\ntheir performance, reliability and scalability, supported by <br>\naward-winning Fujitsu technology such as Nano Technology and <br>\nMicroelectronics Technology.<\/p>\n<p>\"The superiority of those products has been proven by various <br>\nsuch as SAP Benchmarks, Oracle Benchmarks, SPE Benchmarks and <br>\nTPC-C Benchmarks,\" said FI's manager for sales and marketing <br>\ncommunication Lina Melinda.<\/p>\n<p>FI celebrated its 10th anniversary in Jakarta early this <br>\nmonth. Attended by over 350 business partners and government <br>\nrepresentatives, Mikuni officially announced that FI is a new <br>\ncorporate name for Japan-based Fujitsu's operations in Indonesia, <br>\nreplacing the former name PT Fujitsu Systems Indonesia.<\/p>\n<p>\"We express our gratitude to all our customers and business <br>\npartners.
