The signing took\nplace on the sidelines of the UK\u2013Indonesia Bilateral Meeting on Digital\nEconomy and Cybersecurity in London. ADIGSI Chairman Firlie Hanggodo\nGaninduto stated that the collaboration is part of efforts to broaden\naccess to competency development for national cybersecurity talent and\nindustry players. \u2018ADIGSI is committed to driving the growth of\nIndonesia\u2019s cybersecurity industry. Therefore, we view the collaboration\nwith CREST International as a strategic step to enhance the competence\nof national talent while expanding access to the global market,\u2019 Firlie\nsaid in a statement on Thursday, 11 June 2026. According to Firlie, the\nMoU will be followed up through a series of work programmes, including\nstrengthening industry standards, boosting human resource capacity,\nknowledge exchange, developing accreditation pathways, and reinforcing\nthe capabilities of cybersecurity industry players in Indonesia. He\nadded that the collaboration is expected to support efforts to improve\nthe quality and professionalism of the national cybersecurity sector,\nwhich continues to grow in line with the acceleration of digital\ntransformation. CREST International CEO Nick Benson noted that Indonesia\nis one of the countries with rapid digital economy development in the\nAsia Pacific region, which in turn increases the need for strengthened\ncybersecurity capacity and standards. \u2018This partnership is part of\nCREST\u2019s commitment to supporting the development of standards,\ncompetency, and professionalism in Indonesia\u2019s cybersecurity industry.\nWe hope this collaboration will benefit the development of an\nincreasingly secure and trustworthy digital ecosystem,\u2019 said Benson.
