        "content": "<p>Puslapdik delegate Setyo Utomo said in a written statement received\nhere on Monday that the secondary education affirmation program gives\nunderprivileged children in remote, frontier, and outermost regions the\nopportunity to obtain a good education.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThrough this secondary education affirmation program, 57 children\nfrom the Highland Papua region have completed senior high school in East\nJava, Central Java, and Bali since 2023-2026. The program continues this\nyear with 100 students studying in West Java, Banten, East Java, and\nCentral Java,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>According to him, the 57 students from Highland Papua who received\nthe scholarship were spread across three regions: 26 in East Java, 13 in\nCentral Java, and 18 in Bali.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe certainly hope that after completing their studies in Java and\nBali, their character, discipline, and mindset will improve, so they can\nbecome a generation that brings change to the Highland Papua region,\u201d he\nsaid.<\/p>\n<p>He explained that these 57 children represent extraordinary potential\nfor the Highland Papua region, especially for its eight districts:\nJayawijaya, Yahukimo, Nduga, Tolikara, Pegunungan Bintang, Lanny Jaya,\nYalimo, and Mamberamo Tengah.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe really hope these 57 children can serve as an example for other\nchildren in Highland Papua, so that they can follow the same path and\nbecome the future generation of Highland Papua,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>He expressed hope that children given the opportunity to study\noutside Papua would receive support, especially from their families.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe hope parents will also give full support to their children who\nhave the opportunity to study outside Papua.
