        "content": "<p>Medan \u2014 Adam Malik Hospital in Medan, North Sumatra, has mobilised\nmedical teams and health facilities to ensure service remains optimal\nduring the Nyepi and Eid al-Fitr 2026 holiday break.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are preparing human resources scheduling, infrastructure, and\nfacilities during the holiday and collective leave period, so that\nservice to patients continues to run optimally,\u201d said Rosario Dorothy\nSimanjuntak, Legal and Public Relations Manager of Adam Malik Hospital,\nin Medan on Friday.<\/p>\n<p>She explained that the Emergency Department (IGD) and Special Cardiac\nEmergency Service Unit (UPK2J) at the Integrated Cardiac Centre (PJT)\nbuilding will remain open 24 hours to serve patients throughout the\nNyepi and Eid al-Fitr holidays.<\/p>\n<p>The vertical hospital under the Ministry of Health is deploying five\nspecialist doctors on-site daily, including specialists in anaesthesia,\nsurgery, internal medicine, paediatrics, and obstetrics and\ngynaecology.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMeanwhile, other specialist doctors remain on standby and will be\nassigned on-call according to the patient cases being handled,\u201d she\nsaid.<\/p>\n<p>She stated that nursing and other health personnel have also been\nprepared to ensure health services continue during the holiday\nperiod.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe emergency operating theatre service will also remain open 24\nhours, whilst the central operating theatre will be closed during\nnational holidays and this collective leave period,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<p>Rosario said other hospitals wishing to refer patients to Adam Malik\nHospital may continue to do so according to standard procedures, namely\nthrough the Integrated Referral Information System (Sisrute)\napplication.<\/p>\n<p>All services at Adam Malik Hospital will return to normal operations\nafter the holiday on Wednesday (25 March).<\/p>",
