        "content": "<p>Actress accused of swindling<\/p>\n<p>JAKARTA (JP): A company commissioner has reported a former<br>\nfilm actress to police for allegedly embezzling Rp 2 billion<br>\n(US$858,369).<\/p>\n<p>The money was gained from receipts of September&apos;s National<br>\nGames, a detective said.<\/p>\n<p>City Detectives Chief Col. Paimin Abuamr said Rubby Caturina<br>\nreported Debbie Cynthia Dewi for the alleged crime. Debbie is<br>\nalso the company&apos;s director, PT Debbytama Promindo.<\/p>\n<p>&quot;We are still investigating the report,&quot; Paimin was quoted as<br>\nsaying by Antara news agency Friday.<\/p>\n<p>Rubby said Debbie fired her when she asked about the money<br>\ngained from the receipts.<\/p>\n<p>The report said the police questioned the secretary-general of<br>\nthe Indonesian Chess Association, Djamil Djamal, as a witness.<\/p>\n<p>PT Promindo, the association&apos;s partner which raises funds for<br>\nsport events, was a fund-raiser for the National Games.
