Acer launches new product<\/p>\n
JAKARTA (JP): Personal computer manufacturer Acer announced on
\nMonday the upcoming launch of its WT 300 Windows-based terminal
\nfor the Indonesian market.<\/p>\n
The company's senior vice president and general manager of
\nAcer's branded business unit, T.Y Lay, said the WT 300 provided
\ncommercial computing users with a distinct alternative to desktop
\nPCs for networked Windows-environment applications.<\/p>\n
Lay said the WT 300 offered positive, worry-free and secure
\ntotal costs control (TCO) for information technology (IT)
\nmanagement.<\/p>\n
"As more businesses are taking advantage of network and server
\ntechnology, it is incumbent upon us to create real, usable
\nsolutions to their TCO quandaries. The WT 3000 provides IT
\nmanagement a new and surprisingly simple way to meet the TCO
\nchallenge, head on," Lay said in a statement.<\/p>\n
Acer, established in Taiwan in 1976, which claims to be the
\nworld's third largest PC manufacturer, currently has 120
