Jakarta (ANTARA) \u2013 The children\u2019s milk product AceKid has been\nofficially introduced to the public, offering a concept that uses fresh\nmilk as its primary raw material through a One-Step Fresh processing\ntechnology. The manufacturer claims AceKid is the first children\u2019s milk\nin Indonesia to use fresh milk with this method. The product\u2019s launch\nunderscores the importance of scrutinising raw materials and processing\nmethods when selecting nutritional products for children. In its\ndevelopment, AceKid uses natural whole milk processed through a single\nintegrated series, a method claimed to preserve the freshness and\nnatural nutritional content of the milk. Beyond the processing\ntechnique, the product promotes a traceable milk source concept. The raw\nmilk is reportedly sourced from regions around the 47th parallel north,\ncharacterised by fertile Chernozem soil, natural alkaline mineral water,\nand green pastures for dairy cows.<\/p>\n
Professor Dr Rini Sekartini, a paediatric health expert from the\nUniversity of Indonesia, stated that parents need to thoroughly\nunderstand the composition of children\u2019s nutritional products before\nmaking a choice. \u201cBy understanding the composition more comprehensively,\nparents can make more appropriate and responsible choices for their\nchildren\u2019s nutritional products,\u201d she said. She noted that fulfilling a\nchild\u2019s nutritional needs cannot rely solely on one or two highlighted\ningredients on the packaging; the balance of the composition and the\nquality of the base ingredients must also be considered. Attention to\nthese aspects is increasingly important as child nutrition issues are\nnot limited to stunting but also include other health problems such as\ndental caries and obesity.<\/p>\n
During the product introduction, AceKid also highlighted its claimed\nsimple composition. The product is said to be free from maltodextrin,\nsynthetic flavours, sucrose, and corn syrup. AceKid also utilises Flash\nDissolution technology, which reportedly allows the product to dissolve\nperfectly when prepared. The manufacturer stated that the raw materials\nmeet several quality parameters based on European Union standards,\nincluding protein content and milk hygiene levels. Nonetheless, the\nselection of children\u2019s nutritional products must still be tailored to\neach child\u2019s individual needs and conditions. The importance of\nbreastfeeding was also reaffirmed, with breast milk remaining the\nprimary source of nutrition for infants, especially during the first six\nmonths of life.
