The Task Force for Post-Disaster Rehabilitation and Reconstruction\n(Satgas PRR) in Sumatra is urging the Aceh provincial and district\/city\ngovernments to immediately realise the additional Regional Transfer\nFunds (TKD) amounting to Rp 1.65 trillion. The push aims to ensure the\nallocated budget is swiftly translated into recovery programmes that\nprovide tangible benefits to communities affected by the disaster.<\/p>\n
Head of the Aceh Region Post for the PRR Task Force, Safrizal ZA,\nstated that the task force will directly monitor the progress of budget\nabsorption. He noted that the results of this monitoring will be made\npublic starting Monday as part of an effort to maintain acceleration,\ntransparency, and accountability. \u201cWe have asked the regional\ngovernments, both provincial and district\/city, to realise the TKD as\nsoon as possible,\u201d Safrizal said in a statement on Saturday.<\/p>\n
He explained that the Chairman of the PRR Task Force, who is also the\nMinister of Home Affairs, Muhammad Tito Karnavian, has led several\nspecific meetings to ensure the funds are used immediately according to\nregional needs. The monitoring will not only cover administrative\ncompleteness but also the implementation of activities and their\nbenefits for the recovery process.<\/p>\n
Of the total additional TKD of Rp 1.652 trillion, Rp 824.82 billion\nhas been allocated to the Aceh Provincial Government, while the\nremaining Rp 827.26 billion is distributed among district and city\ngovernments. Several districts and cities in Aceh have also received\nfinancial assistance through inter-regional grant schemes to support the\nrecovery process.<\/p>\n
Based on the budget mapping, the infrastructure sector received the\nlargest allocation at approximately Rp 972.92 billion. Other allocations\ninclude Rp 361.62 billion for other affairs, Rp 194.93 billion for\neducation, Rp 60.43 billion for agriculture, and Rp 39.31 billion for\nhealth. The significant portion for infrastructure reflects the region\u2019s\nneed to restore connectivity and basic public services, including the\nconstruction and rehabilitation of roads, bridges, irrigation, and\nresidential areas.<\/p>\n
All activity plans to be financed through the additional TKD have\nbeen incorporated into the regional budgets (APBD). The Aceh Government\nhas also issued Governor Regulation Number 10 of 2026 as the basis for\nbudget adjustments.
