        "content": "<p>A student from SMA Negeri 2 Percontohan Karang Baru in Aceh Tamiang,\nZilqueensa Abintary Laudicia Simatupang, has been selected for the 2026\nnational Paskibraka flag-hoisting team. She achieved this despite her\nhome being affected by a hydrometeorological disaster. \u201cAlhamdulillah, I\nranked first at the Aceh level and continued to the national level.\nAfter passing all the tests, I was declared to have passed representing\nAceh at the national level,\u201d Queen said in Banda Aceh on Tuesday. Queen,\nas she is known, passed the national Paskibraka selection after going\nthrough the regional selection stages. She represents Aceh alongside\nanother student, M. Hibban Annapis from SMA Modal Bangsa Aceh Besar.\nQueen explained that her graduation came after she achieved first place\nin both academic and physical tests from the district to the provincial\nlevel, and finally passed the national test. \u201cI was declared to have\npassed after ranking first in the district selection and also first in\nthe province,\u201d she said. She recounted that during the flood disaster at\nthe end of 2025, her house was submerged in up to four metres of water\nand filled with mud. Her parents\u2019 laundry business was also affected by\nthe disaster. Afterwards, her enthusiasm for pursuing her dream of\nbecoming a Paskibraka member dimmed due to the disaster, as conditions\nin her area were paralysed and school activities were inactive for two\nmonths. \u201cBut when conditions began to recover, my spirit returned. I\nthought, I cannot let a disaster make my spirit fall, I cannot stop\nhere. That is where I resolved to keep moving forward,\u201d she said. Queen\nalso confirmed that she is fully prepared, both mentally and physically,\nto serve as a national Paskibraka member at the 81st Independence Day of\nthe Republic of Indonesia ceremony. \u201cI am very ready, mentally and\nphysically, to undergo Paskibraka at the central level,\u201d Queen asserted.\nMeanwhile, the Head of the Aceh Tamiang National Unity and Politics\nAgency, Agusliana Devita, stated that the Paskibraka selection in Aceh\nTamiang was carried out starting in February 2026, when conditions were\nstill not conducive. The selection process utilised the office complex\nroads because the fields, including sports facilities, could not be used\nas they were still occupied by refugees. \u201cAlhamdulillah, even though\nAceh Tamiang was in a concerning condition, it did not dampen the\nchildren\u2019s enthusiasm to participate in the selection, and 300 children\nregistered for the selection,\u201d she said. Agusliana noted that the\nstudents\u2019 enthusiasm for participating in the Paskibraka selection was\nvery high. Despite the ongoing state of emergency, the process ran\nsmoothly, resulting in a representative being sent to the national\nlevel. Moreover, the Aceh Tamiang representative managed to achieve\nfirst place at the provincial level. \u201cThis is an achievement for Aceh\nTamiang since the district was established.
