        "content": "<p>Aceh students protest ExxonMobil<\/p>\n<p>BANDA ACEH, Aceh: A group 50 students staged a rally against<br>\nExxonMobil Oil Indonesia here on Wednesday, alleging the company<br>\nhad been facilitating the Indonesian Military (TNI) in serious<br>\nhuman rights violations in the past decade.<\/p>\n<p>Three students were questioned and then detained over the<br>\ndemonstration that was held at Simpang Lima traffic circle.<\/p>\n<p>During the rally the students distributed pamphlets and<br>\nunfurled banners which, among other things, read \"Exxon dan<br>\nTNI\/POLRI musuh rakyat Aceh\" or, \"Exxon and the Military (are)<br>\nthe enemies of the Acehnese.\"<\/p>\n<p>The students also called on the people to stop paying taxes as<br>\na form of protest.<\/p>\n<p>Aceh Besar Police chief Adj. Sr. Comr. Sayed Hoesainy said<br>\nthat the three students had been arrested because they<br>\ndistributed pamphlets that provoked people to be disobedient and<br>\nnot pay taxes.<\/p>\n<p>\"If they are innocent they will be released soon,\" he<br>\nadded.(50\/emf)<\/p>",
