The post aims to improve inter-sector coordination, unify data systems, and serve as a public complaints centre. The move comes as Aceh prepares for a three-year long-term rehabilitation phase starting in 2026.",
"content": "<p>The Sumatran Planning and Supervision Task Force for Rehabilitation\nand Reconstruction (Satgas PRR) has requested the Nagan Raya Regency\nGovernment in Aceh Province to establish a local Satgas PRR command\npost. A task force representative, Imran, stated in Nagan Raya on\nThursday that creating a post in the region would facilitate better,\nmore intensive coordination and communication across all lines and\nsectors involved in disaster management. Imran outlined three main\nreasons the post must be activated immediately. Firstly, the post will\noptimise inter-sector relations within the region while easing\ncoordination and communication between local policymakers, the task\nforce, and other relevant parties. Secondly, the post will function to\nproduce a single data system sourced from a unified database, ensuring\nall parties use consistent data and preventing conflicting information\nin the field. Thirdly, the post is expected to serve as a media\ncommunication and public complaints channel, acting as a direct avenue\nfor residents to report operational obstacles, problems, or hindrances\nencountered during the disaster impact handling process on the ground.\nImran added that the urgency of establishing the post is heightened as\nthe Rehabilitation and Reconstruction process in Aceh Province is about\nto enter a long-term phase lasting three years, from 2026 through to\n2028. He confirmed that the recovery master plan has already been\nfinalised and approved together with the House of Representatives.\nActing Regional Secretary of Nagan Raya Regency, Hizbulwatan, said the\nlocal government is ready to follow up on the directive and will\nimmediately coordinate with relevant agencies and regional leaders to\nrealise the command post. He expressed gratitude for the presence of the\nSumatran PRR Task Force in Nagan Raya, noting that such coordination is\nessential to facilitate the reconstruction of public facilities and\nresidents\u2019 homes damaged by the natural disaster that occurred at the\nend of 2025.<\/p>",
