Abdoelkadir told a<br>\nreception to introduce the Professional Standards of Public<br>\nAccountants book last night that the standards are binding to all<br>\npublic accountants in Indonesia in providing auditing and other<br>\nfinancial services to clients.<\/p>\n<p>Abdulkadir noted that the economic globalization and the rapid<br>\ngrowth of the capital market demand higher quality services and a<br>\nwider variety of financial services from public accountants.<\/p>\n<p>The enforcement of the professional standards which are based<br>\non the American standards will help improve the quality and<br>\nbroaden the range of financial services to be provided by public<br>\naccountants, he added.
