The National Single Window (LNSW) has opened system integration\nservices for export and import businesses since 1 September 2026,\nthrough the provision of access to the Indonesia National Single Window\nSystem Application Programming Interface (API SINSW).<\/p>\n
This service is implemented in accordance with the Regulation of the\nHead of the National Single Window Agency Number Per-1\/LNSW\/2026\nregarding the Procedures for Granting Access to Service Users Using the\nIndonesia National Single Window System via Application Programming\nInterface (Perka API).<\/p>\n
LNSW Director of Information Technology, Wawan Ismawandi, stated that\nthe implementation of the SINSW API can support a more standardised,\neffective, and efficient service integration process, which can be\ndeveloped according to business process needs and the evolution of SINSW\nservices.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe all realise that speed and ease of transaction are highly needed\ntoday, as time efficiency will directly impact cost efficiency,\u201d Wawan\nsaid via a press release on Thursday (3\/9\/2026).<\/p>\n
The Head of the LNSW Information System Planning Sub-directorate,\nFachry Rozy Oemar, explained that the development of API services in\nSINSW was driven by feedback from service users who have utilised SINSW\nservices to date.<\/p>\n
Service users with very high volumes of export and import\ntransactions, particularly those managing thousands of commodities in a\nsingle transaction, have faced challenges in the document submission\nprocess through SINSW services. This issue arises because large\ntransaction datasets are generally stored within the users\u2019 respective\nin-house systems, requiring significant effort to submit such large\nvolumes of data when applying through SINSW.<\/p>\n
Furthermore, service users require access to the latest information\nregarding export and import trade regulations, which was previously only\naccessible through the Indonesia National Trade Repository (INTR) on the\nINSW portal.<\/p>\n
With the implementation of the API, users\u2019 systems will be able to\nintegrate directly with SINSW via the API Catalogue platform, which is\ncollaborated with the Single Sign On Next Generation mechanism.<\/p>\n
The SINSW API Catalogue serves as the standard for integrating\nexternal systems with SINSW, ensuring that inter-system collaboration is\nfaster, secure, and reliable, while also acting as a documentation\nrepository for system integration available to all interested\nparties.<\/p>\n
As is well known, an API is an integration mechanism that allows the\nutilisation of SINSW services directly from a user\u2019s in-house system.\nPreviously, service users could only access SINSW services through a\nweb-based interface. With the enforcement of the Perka API, an\nadditional access mechanism via API is now available for service users\nwith in-house systems seeking direct integration with SINSW.<\/p>\n
LNSW\u2019s capability in implementing system integration via API has been\nproven since 2021 through integration with the systems of relevant\nministries and agencies involved in export, import, and logistics in\nIndonesia, as well as systems from partner countries at the ASEAN\nregional level and bilateral partners such as South Korea, China, Japan,\nand Australia within the framework of Cross Border Paperless Trade\nFacilitation.<\/p>\n
