The plan by President Prabowo Subianto to award state honours to the\nleadership of the Daya Anagata Nusantara Investment Management Agency\n(BPI Danantara) has received a positive response from academics. Professor Dr Marihot Manullang, a professor at the Faculty of\nEconomics and Business at Lancang Kuning University in Pekanbaru,\nexpressed his support for the head of state\u2019s move. He said the plan to\ngrant the award represents tangible recognition of professionalism in\nmanaging state assets.<\/p>\n

He\nviewed Danantara\u2019s achievements in optimising the performance of\nstate-owned enterprises as a crucial step for national economic\nstability.<\/p>\n
He further emphasised that sound, results-oriented management is the\nmain key to managing state wealth. The award is expected to motivate\nother institutions to apply similar standards of professionalism.<\/p>\n
Earlier, in his State Address at the Annual Session of the People\u2019s\nConsultative Assembly and the Joint Session of the House of\nRepresentatives and the Regional Representatives Council on Friday\n(14\/8\/2026), President Prabowo explicitly praised Danantara\u2019s\nmanagement. The president highlighted the significant increase in\ndividends and profits of state-owned enterprises under the agency\u2019s\ncoordination.<\/p>\n
