Abuse of female

Cases of rape or torture involving Indonesia's female migrant
\nworkers (TKW), as frequently reported by the mass media,
\napparently have not motivated Islamic organizations to act. There
\nhas been no news of demonstrations against Kuwait or other Middle
\nEast nations employing the TKW.<\/p>\n
On the other hand, when America attacked Iraq, various demos
\nwere staged against the U.S. and donations made to Iraq, instead
\nof contributing something to the poor in Indonesia. Now with the
\nTKW cases causing Indonesian women's physical and psychological
\nsuffering, no defense nor response has been made.<\/p>\n
In fact, TKW recruiting firms failing to show proper concern
\nover the fate of the migrant workers they sent abroad deserve
\npunishment. No more TKW should leave the country before the firms
\nare put in order. Isn't the abuse of TKW a major issue? Are women
\nsupposed to accept such unfair treatment?<\/p>\n
