I tried to get my number blocked by calling Indosat's so-<br>\ncalled \"24-hour Service Call Center\", the number of which is<br>\nwritten on my monthly bill: 021 5438 8888.<\/p>\n<p>For more than five hours, from 3:30 p.m. onward, I tried to<br>\nreach somebody also under various numbers related to Satelindo\/<br>\nIndosat, without any response at all. And I doubt that the fax I<br>\nimmediately sent reached its destination.<\/p>\n<p>So, I had to wait until the next morning to find one of<br>\nSatelindo's branches to report the loss and finally get the<br>\nnumber blocked.<\/p>\n<p>All that caused a lot of unnecessary trouble for me. I hope<br>\nthat the cell phone was not misused in between, which the next<br>\nbill will show.<\/p>\n<p>And, by the way, when we related our experience to friends, it<br>\nturned out that some of them had similar ones.<\/p>\n<p>So, maybe it is time for Indosat to review the service it<br>\npromises, to keep its customers satisfied.<\/p>\n<p>HANS-DIETER HOLLER<br>\nBandung<\/p>",
